Rushed parents dangerous driving at drop-off area puts students at risk. It’s important that motorists lower their speed, yield to pedestrians, and watch out for children who may dart out unexpectedly.

Please also remember to take care around school buses that have stopped to load or unload children.

Driving don’ts at student drop off and pick up zones

-stopping in the middle of the road to let their children out or even on the opposite side of the street

-forcing children to jaywalk

-double parking for a minute to talk with another parent

-U turning

-Speeding

-Disabled Parking without a permit

Parents! please remember to talk to your children about how to keep safe in a school zone and be good example for them
